IMPORTANT GALA DETAILS

I. PRE-REGISTRATION

On Thursday (9/18) and Friday (9/19) from 8:30am - 7:00pm, we will have PRE-REGISTRATION at Out Youth on North Lamar Blvd. where you can register and pick up your gala wristband. These wristbands are your tickets to the gala, pre-party and after party!

More than half of our attendees skipped the registration line last year by pre-registering.

Parking is located off of 30th 1/2 St.

Please utilize the designated Out Youth spaces, or street parking.

Office is on the bottom floor; entrance is the side of the building facing the parking lot.

SO WHY SHOULD I PRE-REGISTER, HENNY?

Because no one has time for long lines.
Because for the first people who pre-register, you’ll receive a FREE Unite the Fight clacking fan (you choose your contestant!). WHILE SUPPLIES LAST.
Because you want to get the party started sooner!

Please note: all attendees must pre-register individually. (Table purchasers will not be able to pick up 12 wristbands - only their individual wristband - unless there is a special circumstance preventing attendees from picking up their own. Components of our event require individual registration.)

II. GALA DROP-OFF AND ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR SEPTEMBER 20th

Rideshare services should drop off attendees on Red River (avoiding congestion in front of hotel) or at the Fairmont front door and lobby. Ridesharing is highly encouraged given the size and scale of this event. There will be limited valet and personal parking available.

III. NIGHT OF THE GALA FAQs

HOW DO I SKIP THE LINES WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE GALA?

Go to Pre-Registration on Thursday, 9/18 or Friday, 9/19 to receive your wristband and skip the Registration line!

BUT WHAT IF I RSVP’D? DO I STILL NEED TO GO TO REGISTRATION?
Thank you for RSVPing! Since we have all your info, this makes everything go a lot quicker! You’ll still need to pick up your gala wristband at either Pre-Registration or Registration the night-of for entry. This wristband is your ticket!

WHEN AND WHERE DO I ARRIVE THE NIGHT OF THE GALA?
All guests are recommended to arrive at 5pm via ride share service and be dropped off at the designated ride share drop-off on Red River.

WHAT'S THE PRE-PARTY SCHEDULE?

All guests should arrive by 5PM and enter through the lobby entrance to the Fairmont.

Starting at 5PM, all guests will take the escalators up to floor 4. If you've pre-registered, you can sashay past the lines and head up to floor 5 for the GAP pre-party (PINK WRISTBANDS). On floor 5, GA bars will be open in the foyer prior to the ballroom doors opening.

Starting at 5.30PM, VIP pre-party guests (SILVER WRISTBANDS) will take escalators up to floor 4 registration (if you've pre-registered - again you can zoom past lines) and then take the elevators up to Palm Court (ballroom) for a private VIP welcome party with complimentary bar. Please note - you must take elevators up to floor 7 (the escalators don't go up to 7, queens).

WHAT'S THE GALA SCHEDULE?

5PM: suggested drop-off time for GA and VIP guests (Fairmont Austin Hotel - on 101 Red River St.)

5PM: GA pre-party and red carpet on floor 5 (cash bar)

5.30PM: VIP pre-party on floor 7 (1hr of complimentary cocktails)

6:30PM: Unite the Fight 2025

10PM: Crowning of our Unite the Fight 2025 Champion

11PM: Postparty at Highland Lounge

HOW DO BARS WORK?

There will be NO drink wristbands this year - the Fairmont has implemented a POS system to ensure our lines move faster than ever before. So be sure to bring your credit card, henny. We will have 6 bars outside the ballroom, and 9 bars inside the ballroom.

HOW DO I BID ON AUCTION OR DONATE? ARE THEY SEPARATE SITES?

You’ll bid on silent auction, make donations, and tip your queens all through the same site (Greater Giving). PLEASE CHECK YOUR TEXTS FOR YOUR UNIQUE LINK. If you RSVP’d or pre-registered, you most likely already received a welcome text with your link.

At the top of the UTF auction/donation webpage, if you're logged in, it will say your name (if you're not logged in or set up to bid/donate - it will say 'get started.')

If you didn't receive a welcome text, please swing by Registration on Floor 4 or by the HELP DESK on Floor 5 to get set-up.

WHAT DO I WEAR?
We always say that people at our gala dress “VMA's meets Met Gala.” But don’t let that limit you either. Our guests aren’t afraid of color, sparkle, makeup, and the loudest accoutrement possible. Be fabulous and feel fabulous... Be you!
