IMPORTANT GALA DETAILS
Dearest Unite the Fight Gala Guests,
Please read the following information carefully - the library is now OPEN and you don't want to miss a single section about Unite the Fight logistics (pre-registration, gala drop-off instructions, and FAQs):
I. PRE-REGISTRATION
On Thursday (10/19) and Friday (10/20), we will have PRE-REGISTRATION sites at the following locations where you can register and pick up your gala wristband. THERE ARE NO PHYSICAL TICKETS. More than half of our attendees skipped the registration line last year by pre-registering. Each location will be staffed from 8am-5pm on Thursday (10/19) and Friday (10/20):

Because for anyone who pre-registers, you’ll receive a FREE Unite the Fight clacking fan (you choose your contestant!)

Please note: all attendees must pre-register individually. (Table purchasers will not be able to pick up 10 wristbands - only their individual wristband. Components of our event require individual registration.)
II. GALA DROP-OFF AND ARRIVAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR OCTOBER 21ST
Due to the event being held the same weekend as Formula 1, we will have NO PARKING and NO VALET available at the Fairmont Hotel. All gala guests should arrive by ride share at the designated ride share drop-off - Palazzo/Exhibition Hall at 410 E. Cesar Chavez St
If you plan on driving to the Unite the Fight, you may park at Austin Convention Center Garage on 5th Street ($20 for 10-12 hours).
Whether you rideshare or park, all guests should enter Palazzo/Exhibition Hall (at Austin Convention Center) at 410 E. Cesar Chavez St., pick up their wristband (unless you've pre-registered - then you take the fast lane!), and cross the sky bridge to the Fairmont for a special activation you WON'T WANT TO MISS!
After you cross the sky bridge, you'll receive a complimentary glass of champagne on the Fairmont side courtesy of our friends at Treasury Wine Estates and Squealing Pig!!!

HOW DO I SKIP THE LINES WHEN I ARRIVE AT THE GALA?
PRE-REGISTER at one of the locations listed above!!!
WHEN AND WHERE DO I ARRIVE THE NIGHT OF THE GALA?
All guests are recommended to arrive at 5pm via ride share service and be dropped off at the designated ride share drop-off on 410 E. Cesar Chavez St. at Palazzo/Exhibition Hall next door to the Fairmont Hotel.
AFTER I'M DROPPED OFF AT PALAZZO/EXHIBITION HALL, WHAT HAPPENS? (IT NEVER HURTS TO REPEAT OURSELVES!)
After arriving at Palazzo/Exhibition Hall (410 E. Cesar Chavez St.), you can zoom past the lines toward the sky bridge if you're pre-registered. Otherwise, you'll register, then walk across the sky bridge for a truly fabulous activation and bubbles.
WHAT'S THE PRE-PARTY SCHEDULE?
All guests should arrive by 5PM.
Starting at 5PM, GA guests will take the escalators up to floor 5 where all GA bars will be open in the foyer prior to the ballroom doors opening as well as our fabulous red carpet activation (thank you to our Red Carpet Sponsor, Bumble).
Starting at 5.30PM, VIP pre-party guests with pre-party access will take the elevators up to Palm Court on the 7th floor pool deck for a private VIP welcome party with complimentary bar.
(VIP post-party guests - keep your wristbands on for 1 hour of complimentary bar at Highland Lounge at 11PM!!!)
WHAT'S THE GALA SCHEDULE?
5PM: suggested drop-off time for GA and VIP guests (Palazzo/Exhibition Hall at Austin Convention Center - 410 E. Cesar Chavez St.)
5PM: GA pre-party and red carpet on floor 5 (cash bar)
5.30PM: VIP pre-party on floor 7 (1hr of complimentary cocktails)
6:30PM: Unite the Fight 2023!!!
10PM: Crowning of our Unite the Fight 2023 champion
11PM: Highland postparty (VIP postparty guests have 1hr of complimentary cocktails)
HOW DO BARS WORK?
There will be NO drink wristbands this year - the Fairmont has implemented a POS system to ensure our lines move faster than ever before. So be sure to bring your credit card, henny. We will have 6 bars outside the ballroom, and 9 bars inside the ballroom.
WHAT DO I WEAR?
We always say that people at our gala dress “VMA's meets Met Gala.” But don’t let that limit you either. Our guests aren’t afraid of color, sparkle, makeup, and the loudest accoutrement possible. Be fabulous and feel fabulous... Be you!
