TEAM Shri & EMAN

Shri & Eman are a dynamic Austin duo powered by Bollywood bangers, community care, and a shared love of dancing together whenever possible. As organizers and leaders with Queer Dance Austin, they’ve helped create joyful spaces where queer folks can connect, move, and celebrate themselves freely. They also perform with KhushATX, bringing sparkle, rhythm, and a whole lot of heart to the stage.

 

Off the dance floor, Eman is a passionate storyteller who can often be found performing at open mics around Austin, weaving humor, vulnerability, and cultural connection into every performance. She’s also deeply involved in the zine world, helping run the annual Lone Star Zine Fest and championing independent art and DIY creativity.

 

Shri brings infectious energy and charisma to every performance and especially loves dancing to Bollywood songs that get the whole crowd moving. Together, Shri & Eman are the definition of a power couple: creative, community-driven, and always ready to turn any gathering into a celebration.
